Kathryn Du Plessis
About Kathryn Du Plessis
Kathryn Du Plessis is a qualified and experienced sonographer with a strong passion for patient care and diagnostic excellence. She obtained her Bachelor of Radiography in Diagnostics (BRad (Diagnostics)) from the University of Pretoria in 2005, completing her practical training at Steve Biko Academic Hospital.
Following her community service, Kathryn furthered her studies by completing an Honours degree in Radiography (BRad (Hons) (Diagnostics)) in 2009, where she was first introduced to ultrasound imaging. It was during this time that she discovered her passion for sonography.
She went on to specialise in ultrasound at the University of Johannesburg, earning her BTech (Ultrasound) in 2011.
Since then, Kathryn has worked in private practice as a sonographer, where she is committed to delivering accurate, thorough diagnostic imaging and comprehensive reporting. She continually strives to enhance her skills and knowledge, with the aim of providing high-quality care and making a meaningful contribution to the health and well-being of her community.
Kathryn is an independent ultrasound sonographer registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA). She practises under registration number 1312162, reflecting her commitment to maintaining the highest professional and ethical standards.
